Skogen Lund spells out competitve measures

Kristin Skogen Lund, Director General of Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), emphasised Norwegian business strengths in addition to focusing on areas for improvement. “Investments in domestic industries in Norway are way too low, reaching their lowest comparative level in 40 years,” she said. The country needs to improve if it wants to maintain its high level of competitiveness. “We have kept increasing wages even as competitiveness flattened out, and we need to improve on this. The biggest difference a small country like Norway can make is in innovation.”
