Jon Anders Aas-Haug is the founder and CEO of WebOn Group, and the initiator of Nordic Light. He is one of the pioneers of Internet in Norway, and started WebOn Group back in 1995. WebOn is now a Scandinavian leading multi channel e-commerce and PIM solution provider, with a development centre in Bangkok. The Norwegian Aid organisation Nordic Light was established in 2012, and the mission is to help Norwegian Companies abroad to find local aid projects to support

WebOn is providing e-solutions to larger companies in Norway, and also export solutions to the northern parts of Europe. Among the customers are Wurth, Norway, Telenor Norway, Telenor Sweden, Brightstar, Wilhelmsen, Also, Hitachi, Coop amongst others.
Mr. Aas-Haug established WebOn in 1995, after working five years for the ERP provider MulltiPlus. WebOn was among the first companies globally to develop software for the Web, and got local honours in Norway for developing the first online home delivery solution for grocery; Matnett together with Norgesgruppen and Tiny in 1998. Today WebOn work mainly with larger fully integrated omni-channel ecommerce and Product Information Management solutions. WebOn was for a period on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, but is now privately owned by the founders.

In 2010 Mr. Aas-Haug visited Singapore, and met up with an aid-project called Norway House run by the Norwegian Community there. This was the initial inspiration for Nordic Light, and Nordic Light has now been operating for two years. Nordic Light identifies and evaluates local aid-projects to support, and recommend them to Norwegian companies. It is our duty as Norwegians to give back to the local communities.
