H.E. Deputy Minister of Trade, Fisheries and Industry, Dilek Ayhan

H.E. Dilek Ayhan is the Norwegian Deputy Minister of Trade, Fisheries and Industry representing the Conservative Party. She is one of the co-founders and former Managing Director of the company Alagra, a company established to strengthen the competitiveness of Norwegian industry by increasing their intercultural competence. In 2012, Ms. Ayhan received the OXLO award for her efforts to strengthen multicultural youth’s place in Norwegian society and industry.

Ms. Ayhan has previously worked as Project Manager at Oslo Teknopol IKS, and she has been the President of JADE European Confederation of Junior Enterprises.

Ms. Ayhan has been involved in a broad range of extracurricular activities; she has been a Board Member of Transnational Arts Production (TrAP), Ambassador for FIS World Cup Nordic Skiing 2013, Board Member of The Norwegian Polytechnic Society and a Board Member of Oslo Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Ayhan holds an undergraduate degree (BA) from the Department of Computer Science at Oslo University College
