Christian Chramer is Norwegian Seafood Councils Regional Director for South-East Asia. NSC works on behalf of all Norwegian seafood companies as a market development company. As such, Mr. Chramer works across markets such as Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore focusing on the best known Norwegian brand: the Norwegian salmon. Mr. Chramer has been working with the Asian markets since he joined the company in 2007 and has lived in Singapore since 2011.
Norwegian salmon holds a dominant position in the region with a total market share well above 75%. It’s popularity is growing due to the raising demand for salmon in sushi restaurants, fine hotels and at leading retail outlets in the region.
