David Jou is the current CEO and co-founder of Pomelo, a leading digital fashion platform and retailer in Asia. With a strong background in business and technology, David has successfully guided the company through rapid growth and expansion. His strategic vision and leadership have propelled Pomelo to the forefront of the industry, positioning it as a trendsetter in the fashion market. David previously co-founded Lazada, which was later acquired by Alibaba, where he served as the Managing Director. During his tenure, Lazada Thailand grew to be one of the leading online shopping sites in Thailand. David’s journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Amherst University and later worked at Bain & Company and New Mountain Capital (New York City, New York).
