A skeleton programme for the Norway-Asia Business Summit 2023 taking place in Bangkok from 29 November to 1 December has been set. The programme evolves around a green transition theme with four main pillars:

• ESG related subjects
• Asia’s energy transition coupled with Norwegian solutions for the future
• Digital transformation opportunities throughout the APAC region
• Green Shipping Solutions for the Asia’s Maritime Industry

The summit will feature plenary sessions with keynote speeches and presentations as well as deep dives into the four pillars. The main pillars will be lead by industry experts in their fields focusing on the latest trends, new technologies and challenges facing the various industrial sectors on a global scale with an Asian flavour.

Ahead of the summit, we are organising a site visit to Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard as well as an afternoon speed-dating session where companies can meet official Norway including representatives from Norway’s diplomatic missions and Innovation Norway as well as the Norwegian Business Associations/Chambers of Commerce in the region.

Complementing the main summit programme, a Tech Week as a meeting place and matching forum for the Norwegian Tech Industry looking towards Asia is scheduled to take place from 26 November to 4 December. The Tech Week includes participation in the summit.
