Ole Henæs is regional director Asia and Middle East. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of Innovation Norway’s offices in China, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Dubai and Vietnam. He has a master’s degree from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy. He started his career in the Norwegian Navy, he then held senior positions and board memberships in several major companies in the maritime industry, such as Rapp Marine, Kongsberg Maritime, and Norwegian Maritime Exporters (NME). He started working in Innovation Norway in 2013 as the manager of the office in Vietnam, before taking on responsibility as regional director from 2017.
