Paul is a Partner of our Worldtrade Management Services (WMS) practice in Thailand. Paul has been in Thailand since 1997, where he now leads the Customs and International Trade practice for Mekong (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos), Malaysia and the Philippines. He is also the East Cluster Auto Customs and Trade Leader.

Paul is experienced in advising clients on various aspects of customs and international trade, with particular focus on the valuation of goods for customs purposes and audit / investigation defense. Paul is actively involved with customs and BOI compliance issues, including internal compliance reviews, dispute resolution, optimising preferential trading arrangements and implementing customs valuation and tariff classification solutions.

As a Partner in the regional business, Paul has responsibility for a number of key accounts, including companies in the auto industry. Paul specializes in origin assessment and Free Zone matters, and he has been providing advice to several automotive clients in Thailand.
Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Paul was a Higher Executive Officer with the HM Customs and Excise in the UK. He was based in Valuation Branch, where he undertook casework prior to moving into the policy section and representing the UK at European Commission meetings. Paul also worked in professional practice in the UK before relocating to Thailand.
